Privacy
Short version: your statements and invoices are processed by your own browser and are never uploaded. We have no accounts, no cookies and no tracking.
What happens to a statement PDF
When you choose a PDF, your browser reads it into memory, extracts the text, and builds the table you see. The file, its password and the extracted rows are never sent anywhere and never written to storage. Pressing "Convert another" or closing the tab clears them.
What is stored in your browser
Only these items, in your browser's local storage on your device, all with names starting sk_:
sk_inv_drafts: your invoice and quotation drafts.sk_inv_profile: your business details, if you pressed "Save as my business".sk_inv_counters: the last invoice number used in each series, to suggest the next one.
You can delete the invoice data with "Delete all my data" in the invoice maker, or delete everything by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
What we never collect
- No statement contents, amounts, names or account numbers.
- No PDF passwords.
- No cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers.
- No accounts, so no email addresses or passwords of yours.
How this is enforced
Every page carries a Content-Security-Policy that only allows the page to talk to this website itself, and this website has no address that accepts uploads. So even a bug could not send your statement to another server.
You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools (F12 on most computers), go to the Network tab, and convert a statement. You'll only see the page loading its own files, such as the PDF reader and font files, and no request carrying your data.
Analytics and ads
There are none today. If privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics or ads are added later, this page and the security policy will be updated first, and statement or invoice data will never be shared with them.
Hosting
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security. Those logs never contain your files, because your files never reach the server.
